Peek-A-Boo Cross Country Ski Trail

North of M-129 on Blindline Road, West on State Avenue. The trails is off of State Avenue at the Les Cheneaux Community Schools running track, east of the township landfill. Sponsored by the Les Cheneaux Nordic Ski Club. Approximately 4-5 miles of groomed trails.

Search Bay Back Country Ski Trail

Five miles west of Hessel on M-134 at Search Bay. Trail head is marked and accessible from M-134.

Alpine Skiing & Snowboarding

An adventerous winter day trip and a drive south to the Harbor Springs area (about 1 hour and 15 minutes) will land you among the Midwest’s best downhill skiing and snowboarding at Nub’s Nob and Boyne Highlands.
