The Restaurant at Les Cheneaux Culinary School 

Overlooking the marina and Hessel Bay. Newly renovated in 2015 to serve as the beautiful, refreshing venue for the Les Cheneaux Culinary School, the summer restaurant is the very first restaurant in the region to specialize in farm-to-table fine dining. Restaurant and bar are open daily from June 28 through Labor Day, September 4, from 11 am to 9 pm, offering outdoor dining on the deck, and refreshments at the bar. Unique hands-on cooking classes throughout the school year offer the opportunity to learn culinary skills, such as baking bread, making the “Mother Sauces,” smoking meats, and making butter.

Islander Bar

Named for one of the passenger steam ferries that brought tourists to the Les Cheneaux area over a century ago, the Islander offers an extensive drink selection and generous menu, offering delicious flat breads, gourmet macaroni and cheese, burgers, wraps, chicken wings and salads. Billiards and games, plus plenty of screens to watch your favorite games on. Live entertainment on many weekends throughout the year– call ahead to hear what’s on. Outdoor screened-in deck is open in the summer, and an extensive collection of antiques and nautical memorabilia and photos gives you plenty to look at while waiting for your drink or meal.
